Upstate NY | Albany | The Top-Tier Chinese Restaurant in Town
❤️ Sweet and Sour Crispy Fish (Squirrel Fish) Though the presentation was a bit quirky and unintentionally funny 😂, the flavor was genuinely excellent! The fish was crispy on the outside and tender inside, with a perfectly balanced sweet and sour sauce. In Albany’s culinary desert, this dish truly stands out. ❤️ Peach & Sweet and Sour Pork Even crispier and more tender than the versions at Northeastern restaurants. The addition of peaches brings a refreshing twist, though it leans sweeter. I hereby declare this the new #1 Sweet and Sour Pork in Upstate New York! ✅ Spicy Chongqing Chicken The sight of dried lantern chili peppers assured me it would be good. A perfect hybrid between authentic Chongqing chicken and popcorn chicken—spicy and fragrant, we polished off half the plate in minutes! ✅ Mao Xue Wang (Duck Blood Curd and Tripe Hot Pot) Served in a basin-sized bowl, it made quite an impression! Generously loaded with tripe, blood curd, and pork intestine. The sauce was a bit overpowering, but since Qiaomeizi closed, this is the best Mao Xue Wang you’ll find in Albany. ⭕️ Stir-Fried Lotus Root with Vegetables A very light and simple dish—just half a teaspoon more salt would have elevated its freshness. 📍 Emperor Garden, Albany NY ✅ Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 🔪 Average Cost: $40 per person #RestaurantRecommendations #RestaurantShare #Foodie #NYWeekend #UpstateNY #AlbanyEats #AlbanyNY #ChineseRestaurantInAlbany #NYSurroundings
