🌸 Located in Oregon, Portland is surrounded by abundant tourism resources—its snow-capped mountains and canyons are breathtakingly beautiful. Autumn is Portland’s most stunning season; wandering through the city’s parks, you’ll be immersed in the rich, warm vibes of fall. 🌈 Best Time to Visit: Mid-November to early December (late autumn) Recommended Attractions 1. Sellwood Riverfront Park This riverside park features trails lined with train tracks 🚆. In late autumn, the leaves alongside the paths turn a vibrant golden yellow, painting a cozy scene. You can walk from Sellwood Bridge to Ross Island Bridge, and entry is free. It’s perfect for a leisurely stroll with the crisp autumn wind. 2. Willamette Moorage Park Facing the river across the water, this park is situated in a more residential area—you can snap photos of charming houses and spot wild birds flying around 🐦. It’s a quiet spot to enjoy the peaceful side of Portland’s autumn. 3. Japanese Garden With an admission fee of $22, the garden offers lovely autumn scenery. It has classic Japanese pavilions and landscapes, making it a nice place to wander if you’re looking for a serene escape 🍂. While it’s not overly grand, its tranquility fits the fall mood well. 4. Lan Su Chinese Garden As Portland’s sister city is Suzhou (China), this Suzhou-style garden will make you feel like you’ve been transported back to the Jiangnan region of China. In autumn, it even hosts a chrysanthemum exhibition—highly recommended! Admission is $14 🥟. 5. Columbia River Gorge A 1-hour drive from downtown Portland, this canyon stretches for dozens of kilometers and is draped in deep autumn colors 🏞️. It’s home to several waterfalls, though the observation deck at the top can get extremely windy—be sure to bring a jacket! 6. Mt. Hood Portland’s famous snow-capped mountain. It’s best visited in early autumn; by late autumn and winter, road conditions become tricky. The photo included here was taken of Mt. Hood from downtown Portland ⛰️. 7. City Walk (Downtown) Downtown Portland is incredibly photogenic in autumn—every casual snap turns out beautiful. The city is wrapped in golden hues, so don’t miss a walk through Chinatown or a visit to Powell's Books 📚. This iconic bookstore has 4 floors and is a must-see for book lovers. 8. International Rose Test Garden Home to countless rose varieties 🌹, entry is free. While it’s best visited in summer (during peak blooming season), autumn still offers lovely views of red maple trees and other fall foliage—worth a stop if you’re in the area. #Portland #USA #Oregon #Photography #USATravel #WestCoast #LosAngeles #Seattle
