Utah|Salt Lake City Eats: Tried Some Highly Recommended Spots! 🍜🔥

We didn’t just visit sights in SLC — we ate our way through too! Here are some of the delicious places we tried in Salt Lake City: 🍜 Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Authentic Yunnan cross-bridge rice noodles with lots of topping options. Both spicy and non-spicy broths available — perfect after a day of skiing ❄️ Warms you right up! 🍖 Jang Soo Jang ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Korean restaurant filled with Chinese customers — felt like a Chinese spot with all the Mandarin around! Food was tasty, but service was slow — understaffed, long waits for seating and food (they serve all dishes at once). 🔥 Matchstick Bar & Grill ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our group’s favorite! Great vibe, service, and food. Beef skewers were on special — $0.49 each! We got 20 for under $10 🥩 Also loved the clams in foil, grilled fish, and braised pork rice (more meat than rice!). 🍗 World’s First KFC ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lots of Colonel Sanders history inside — photos and memorabilia on display. Came mainly to check it out — menu’s the same as other KFCs. 🧋 Blue Blue ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cute Christmas-themed cups lately 🎄 The cocoa treasure milk tea was sweet even at 0% sugar — other popular drinks were better balanced. Quick mentions (no photos 😅): A cha chaan teng in Chinatown with great clay pot rice and pineapple buns Tiger Sugar in the Chinatown supermarket — toppings were generous! Burritos from a gas station near the salt flats — lifesaver on a freezing cold day 🥶🌯 That’s all for this food recap! 🔚 #FoodieGram #FoodReview #EatPlayExplore #Utah #UtahTravel #HiddenGemRestaurants
