📍 Nevodi A local Venetian restaurant near the Biennale exhibition area,(extremely high Google rating). The restaurant was full of locals, not a single tourist in sight, which means I've come to the right place. Reservations are a must! 🦐 [SCAMPI CRUDI] The largest scampi I've ever had, with incredibly plump meat and very fresh seafood. If you like it raw, this is a must-order! There's also a cooked version available. 🥩 [TARTAR AL TONNO] They offer both salmon tartar and tuna tartar. I chose the latter, but the texture was completely off. The meat was tough and hard to chew. I think the salmon might have been a better choice. 🥩 [GUANCIA DI MANZO] Oxtongue is one of the signature dishes here, and as expected, it comes with polenta. Polenta and potato purée seem to be the daily standard here, included in almost every dish. 🥒 [VERDURE DI STAGIONE] The usual seasonal vegetables.
