📍 Ristorante Cuore Veneziano I found this local Venetian restaurant on Google Maps. It’s not crowded and you can walk in directly, but we still booked online in advance. The dishes arrived quickly, and the menu is mostly traditional Venetian cuisine, like squid ink pasta and seafood dishes. The flavors are really great, especially the black squid ink pasta—I highly recommend it! 🍝 🐟 FISH SOUP The portion is quite large and the broth is super impressive. However, the seafood itself wasn’t the freshest. For some reason, I didn’t find the seafood in Venice as fresh as in southern Italy. 🦑 NERO DI SEPPIE The squid ink sauce leaves your mouth black. The polenta underneath is there to balance the saltiness of the squid ink. This dish is really good, but if you’re sharing it between two people, the portion might feel a bit small. Highly recommended! 🥒 VERDURE DI STAGIONE The grilled zucchini is really delicious! I recommend it as a side dish.
