Option 1 (Standard & Clear)
The squid ink pasta I had here was on another level. It was more delicious and impactful than any pasta I have ever eaten in Japan, making for an absolutely incredible experience.
I have been reviewing gourmet food in Japan for nearly 10 years. My work was recently recognized by Google Maps, and I was selected as one of the world's top-ranked Google Local Guides. Even with all my experience, this was the best pasta I have ever had in my life.
I am not very good at English or Italian, but the staff was incredibly kind and made conversation and menu explanations enjoyable for me. I was deeply moved by their hospitality. The friendly atmosphere among the staff and other customers was so comfortable, and I felt enveloped in happiness the entire time I was here. It's very welcoming and home-like, and I loved this atmosphere.
My evening in Venice, sharing drinks and conversations with locals, has become a cherished memory. Thank you.
Additional Details:
We also had the Caprese salad, tiramisu, and crème brûlée.
The panna cotta was already sold out by 8:30 PM.
The crème brûlée comes with a bit of entertainment—they light it on fire at your table, creating a pillar of flame!
A complimentary limoncello was served after the meal.

After spending months meticulously researching every single restaurant in Venice, I am so glad that I chose to visit this one. I highly recommend making a reservation; I saw some people who had to leave because they couldn't get a table.
Option 2 (More Enthusiastic & Eloquent)
The squid ink pasta here was simply in a league of its own. It was a revelation—more delicious than any pasta I've ever tasted in Japan. It was a truly unforgettable and mind-blowing culinary experience.
For nearly a decade, I have dedicated myself to dining and writing food reviews in Japan. My passion was recently honored by Google Maps when I was named a World Top-Ranked Google Local Guide. Yet, I can say without hesitation that this was, unequivocally, the best pasta of my entire life.
Despite my limited English and Italian, the staff was exceptionally kind and engaging, warmly explaining the menu and making me feel right at home. I was so touched by their genuine hospitality. There was a wonderful, comfortable rapport between the staff and the guests, and I was filled with a sense of pure happiness during my entire visit. I absolutely adored the cozy, "at-home" atmosphere.
That Venetian night, sharing drinks and conversations with local patrons, will forever be one of my most precious memories. Thank you.

Read moreWe dined at this restaurant on New Year’s Eve, and to put it simply, we still cannot comprehend how this could have been such a terrible experience given all the glowing reviews and food photos on Google.
Firstly, despite having a reservation, we were kept waiting for 30 minutes. Some guests who had booked through the app were even told their reservations were not valid, and no table was available for them on New Year’s Eve.
Once seated, the food took an extremely long time to arrive, and when it did, it was dreadful. We ordered two starters and two main courses for two people: • First starter: Four scallops for 28€. These were clearly not freshly made—something you’d expect from a small bistro for 7€, not a fine dining restaurant. • Second starter: A “Venetian mix of seafood” for 38€. This was laughable—it looked and tasted like items straight from the local Despar supermarket. We knew this because we had visited the supermarket the day before and tasted these exact items from there. The dish included a spoon of cod butter spread, four anchovies, two small sardines, two shrimp, and a single small squid (around 5 cm) in sauce identical to the supermarket version. The quality and quantity were utterly unacceptable for the price.
For the main courses: • My boyfriend ordered the duck lasagna (35€), which tasted worse than airplane food. It was bland, with soggy layers of pastry soaked in cheap, carton-like béchamel sauce, and scattered bits of minced beef. • I ordered a fillet steak (42€), which was supposed to be rare but came done, cut into pieces, unsalted, and served cold with just a spoonful of celery cream on the side.
The food was cold, as if it had been left sitting somewhere, adding insult to injury after the long wait.
In the end, the bill came to 190€ (which included two non-alcoholic aperitifs, a bottle of water, and the food) plus a compulsory 15% tip.
We were completely shocked. We don’t mind paying for good food, but this was a horrendous experience. The quality was insanely low—not gourmet, not even mediocre, just awful. It’s a shame we didn’t take photos to fully illustrate how bad it was. We have no words for how...
Read moreCoure Veneziano look very appeal at first. After many option available I choose this restaurant for dinner with my husband and our 21 month daughter. It was 9:30 when we arrived. We got a table right the way. After we seat down, almost 10 min later we called a server for an expedite soup for our daughter. The menu said green soup. They then said it was a sweep pee soup. Okay it still green so, all good. They soup come in after 5 min of order. Keep in mind this soup was request for a 21 month baby. My daughter was begin to become fussy, as she was hungry.
The soup was so hot, not even an adult could eat right away. Both my husband were working as hard as we could to cold down the soup as our daughter was crying. She eventually grab d spoon and touch her lips. She cried as she felt the heat mix with hunger.
In middle of all this. We begun to get eyes f a costumer that was on our right. They decide to move out. It appears they were bother by the cry. I was to concern calming my baby to notice what was going on. The server come to us and said we have to control our baby cry as the costumer was moving outside. Word can’t ever express what I felt… I reply back to him, “what??? This a baby that is hurt, by your food and she still hungry… He had the audacity, to say that he also have a baby but her baby does not cry like that 😡… it went on… Right the way we decide to leave, we will stay at place our daughter was not welcome. We offer to pay the soup, I assist on it. He thought it was best for us not to pay.
This restaurant, might a great place for couples. Not for family. Zero sympathy what so ever. I will not recommend to any family with kids, specially young ones. The moment they express their self you will asked to control them, in other words to suppress their feeling so someone around you can feel better. Not...
