Venice Food Diary 🍝 | Where I Ate (Mostly in Mestre! 😋)

Since I stayed outside the main island, most of these meals were in Mestre — and they were delicious! 1️⃣ Da Michele A local favorite with a crazy line — but it moved fast! 😲 We had pizza + a fried seafood platter — both were amazing 🍤🍕 This was my first pizza in Italy, and my friend loved it so much she was still talking about it two days later! Also tried two cute alcoholic drinks 🍹 📍 Via Cappuccina, 177, 30172 2️⃣ MOZI BAR-RAMEN Grabbed a Chinese brunch before heading to the island 🥢 Ordered Wenzhou sticky rice, wontons, pan-fried buns, soy milk, and tea egg — felt like heaven 🥟🍳 The owner was super nice and even gave us a discount! ❤️ 📍 Via Piave, 101, 30171 3️⃣ Gelateria Gallonetto Gelato every day, yes please! 🍧 This place had a line out the door — I got passion fruit + strawberry 🍓 — so refreshing and delicious! My friend’s chocolate flavor was super rich too 🍫 📍 Salizada S. Lio, 5727, 30122 4️⃣ I Tre Mercanti Famous tiramisu spot! 🍮 The tiramisu here isn’t too boozy, but be careful — the cocoa powder almost made me choke 😂 Still so good though! 📍 Calle al Ponte de la Guerra, 5364, 30122 5️⃣ Ristorante Coreano Manna Back in Mestre and craving Korean food 🍚 Took a bus to this slightly farther spot — super convenient! Didn’t book ahead but got lucky with a free table 🍀 Funny story: I meant to order black bean noodles but got rice by mistake — still tasty though! My friend had bibimbap, we tried dual-flavor fried chicken (juicyyy 🍗), and kimchi pancakes — all masida! 👍 📍 Via Riccardo Zandonai, 7, 30174 6️⃣ Hostaria Vite Rossa A seafood spot with rave reviews! 🦞 Felt like a real bistro — people drinking at noon outside telling us “it’s so good!” 🍷 We got a seafood platter + lobster pasta — fresh and full of flavor 🦐 Finished with tiramisu — looked plain, but my friend said it was better than the one on the island.
