Venice Restaurant Review | Authentic Local Seafood Bistro
There are two branches of this spot, both super close to each other on the main island. One specializes in seafood, the other in pizza—but when in Venice, seafood is a must! 🌊 We tried walking in without a reservation, but the staff said we needed to book ahead. They did mention we could come back after 9 PM, so we first hit up another seafood joint recommended by their head chef (which was also amazing, btw). Must-order dishes: Scallops 🍣 (so fragrant, just order them! 👆) Mussels 🦪 (almost every table had an order) Squid 🦑 (intense ocean flavor, sauce is super unique) Octopus legs 🐙 (another table staple) Squid ink pasta & classic Italian pasta 🍝 At the end of the meal, the bald bearded waiter treated each of us to a small cup of house special—refreshing iced mint liqueur, slightly sweet and delish! 🍹 (See green drink in Photo 5) PS: They don’t have seafood platters or lobsters, just a la carte seafood dishes. But if you want authentic Italian-style seafood, this is your spot! ✨ 📍 Address: Nevodi Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, 1533, 30122 Venezia VE, Italy #Venice #ItalianCuisine #Seafood #VeniceTravel #LocalsRecommended #RestaurantRecommendations #GlobalFoodie #100RestaurantsChallenge #FoodRecommendations 🌍
