Vergelegen wine estate
In Cape Town, South Africa, the most visited place on weekends is probably the wineries. 💡It's so relaxing and visually pleasing. I think this is the most beautiful winery I've been to in terms of scenery. (Of course, I haven't been to many.) ✅With a history of over 300 years, it features a Dutch colonial-style mansion (now a museum), shaded by ancient trees, and filled with the fragrance of roses as soon as you enter. There's a rose garden and a small café where you can enjoy some snacks and a cup of tea. If you like, you can also visit the adjacent shop to buy tea bags and rose-related gifts. Of course, there's a playground for children, but I think running around on the grass is just as good.💥 ✅Picnicking is also allowed, as indicated by the sign that says "picnic." ✅When it comes to wine tasting, to be honest, I'm not particularly interested in drinking alcohol, haha. It's a bit of a waste considering Cape Town is full of wineries, but my first impression of the scenery here is that it has a rich sense of depth and is very beautiful.💥 ✅Cape Town is said to have over a thousand wineries, which you couldn't possibly visit in a year. So, take your time and explore slowly~ ✅If you're traveling with children, Babylonstoren Wine Farm is a great choice. There are small animals for interaction, as well as a fruit and flower garden, and a lavender field. There's a restaurant called Sandground where the entrance has a small water channel for children to play in. The farm also has a hotel. ✅Hazendal is another option. You can play golf here, and there's an indoor children's playground, for which there's an additional fee. So, while the adults play golf, the kids can be entertained there. There are also small playground facilities next to the restaurant for children to enjoy, which is enough to keep them happy. I've seen families having picnics on the large lawn, which looks very comfortable. This place also has a hotel. ✅For those who love wine, De Grendel is a good choice. It's a small place with a decent restaurant, perfect for relaxing and savoring wine. ✅There's also Spier Wine Farm, which is quite famous. The wine is good, and there are large lawns for children to play on. If I remember correctly, there's a hotel there as well. #CapeTownSouthAfrica #AfricanLife #MyOffTheBeatenPathTravelSpot #SouthAfricanWineries #SlowTravelAroundTheWorld
