Very Delicious Chinese Restaurants in Philly

Took me a few months to finally update this second round! If you’re looking for more great Chinese spots in Philly, check out my earlier post too. 1️⃣ Furama Restaurant 📍 1100 Washington Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19147 This is a dim sum spot with a huge variety and very reasonable prices. 🥟 We ordered: shrimp dumplings, red rice rolls, shrimp shumai, tripe, steamed spare ribs with black bean sauce, honeycomb tripe, durian pastry, and egg tarts—all classic dim sum items that taste just like in a Cantonese teahouse! Plus, they serve freshly brewed tea! ✨ It can get busy during dim sum hours, so go early. The servers are super friendly and warm! 2️⃣ Yi Pin Restaurant 📍 1026 Race St, Philadelphia, PA 19107 Came here for a late-night bite after playing sports with friends—ordered a lot and left stuffed! 🥩 Braised Pork Belly: Well-marinated with nice fat-to-lean ratio, though not the most authentic version—but still great with rice. 🍜 Golden Soup Beef: Huge portion, tangy and spicy with lots of tender beef slices—perfect for whetting your appetite. 🍢 Grilled Skewers: A standout here! Not many Chinese places in Philly also do BBQ. We tried lamb, beef, chicken wings, tofu skin, and more—all smoky, spicy, and delicious. Skewer lovers, don’t miss this! ✨ Homestyle Sichuan flavors, generous portions, great for group hangs! 3️⃣ Dim Sum House by Jane G's 📍 1930 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19103 🧈 Mapo Tofu: A milder version—silky tofu with a hint of numbing spice, super comforting with rice. 🦐 Kung Pao Shrimp: Big shrimp with chicken, walnuts, and broccoli in sweet & sour sauce—creative and tasty! 🥟 Spicy Shrimp Dumplings: Red-skinned dumplings (maybe dyed by the chili?)—look fun and taste like regular shrimp dumplings with a kick. 🍲 Dry Pot Chicken: Chicken with bamboo shoots, scallions, cilantro, and chili—fragrant, spicy, and perfect over rice! #Philly #PhillyFood #PhillyRestaurants #ChineseFood #InternationalStudentEats #PhillyLife
