Very Good – No Regrets! 😊

🇺🇸 A day trip to Old Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey, CA 🚲 We rented bikes for a seaside ride—definitely do NOT choose a tandem bicycle! Firstly, it’s super hard to control 🫣… the old-school handbrakes take some getting used to. Secondly, the path is narrow with lots of pedestrians, so the tandem kept getting stuck. Thirdly, going up and down slopes was both risky and exhausting 😮💨… We two girls had to pedal like crazy just to keep going! But biking was totally worth it! In just an hour, we got to see all the coastal sights round trip 👍🏻 Back to the main topic— Restaurant: Old Fisherman’s Grotto, located right inside the wharf. We went right after biking. If you want a window seat with an ocean view, better book ahead. But even if you walk in, the wait was only about 15 minutes! 🌟 Ultimate Seafood Risotto Creamy tri-color pasta with grilled lobster tail 🦞, pan-seared salmon 🐟, jumbo shrimp, and shellfish—so satisfying! 😌 The ingredients were fresh. A must-order! 🌟 Surf N Turf Expensive—steak + lobster. The steak here wasn’t that great, not really worth it IMO. But you can order it if it’s your thing. 🌟 Grilled Scallop Plump, tender, and delicious—order it! 🌟 Pre-meal BBQ Oyster Pretty worthwhile—juicy and fresh 🦪! The flavor was mainly savory butter. A tiny bit sandy, but no big deal. Definitely squeeze lemon over it! 🍋 Alright, highly recommended overall! 👏 #Monterey #MontereyCA #SeafoodLovers #CoastalEats #TravelFood #CaliforniaCoast #BikeAndBite
