Victoria Food Guide | The Grilled Fish at Fisherman's Wharf is Absolut
If you're looking for the closest and most convenient getaway from Vancouver, Victoria Island is definitely the place to be! 🏝️ While there are countless guides to Victoria, I just have to rave about my favorite spot—Fisherman's Wharf! The colors here are unbelievably vibrant, with rows of charming, rainbow-hued floating houses that are the iconic hallmark of the area. 🏠🌈 So picturesque, you’ll wish you could live in one! These adorable floating cottages are anchored to the shore but bob gently on the water, creating a slight sway as you walk along the docks. 🚶♀️💦 Besides being residential spaces, many of them house quirky little shops and restaurants. On a sunny day with a light breeze, there’s nothing better than grabbing some crispy fish and chips and strolling around with an ice cream cone in hand! 🍦 This time, I’m spotlighting Coco Grill Victoria, a tropical-themed restaurant right by the water. Their whole fried fish is out-of-this-world delicious! 🎣 The fish is fresh and meaty, with an ultra-crispy skin that shatters with every bite. 🍴 The dish comes with a savory fried rice (similar to soy sauce fried rice) packed with veggies and beans, plus a side of sautéed spinach and diced tomatoes—nutritious, balanced, and so flavorful! 👌 Of course, I couldn’t resist snapping some gorgeous photos to give you all a virtual tour! 📸✨ 📍 Coco Grill Victoria 📍 1 Dallas Rd, Victoria, BC V8V 0B2 Pro Tips: ✔️ Best time to visit? Late afternoon for golden-hour photos! 📸 ✔️ Must-try? The whole fried fish—don’t skip it! 🐟 ✔️ Bonus? The wharf’s resident seals often pop up to say hello! 🦭 Who else is craving seafood now? 😍🍽️ #Vancouver #VictoriaHarbour #VictoriaGuide #FishermansWharf #VancouverDayTrips 🚤🌞
