Vinarius | A Hidden Gem in SD's Little Italy
Rated 4.9 on Google Maps but rarely mentioned on Xiaohongshu, I made a casual reservation and was super impressed! š„ Appetizers are all greatāno disappointments. Highly recommend the chefās choice soup. Today it was a vegetable soup with a light, sweet flavor, perfect with crispy bread. š The Daily Special seafood pasta was loaded with fresh ingredients, including a whole š¦ and other seafood. At just 2/3 the price of other places, itās a steal! Shared between two, we each got a huge portionāso filling! š Pizza Salsiccia was rich and savory, with a deep flavor from the meat and mushrooms. š® Loved the dessert menu! The Creme Brulee had an ultra-crispy caramel top and a rich eggy flavor. The Ricotta Pistachio Cake had the most intense pistachio paste Iāve ever tasted. Paired with an after-dinner coffee, the desserts brought a refreshing and bright finish to balance the mealāa truly classic Italian ending. The service was excellent too. The staff explained the dishes with such enthusiasm, it felt like they were about to break into opera š, while the way they crafted cocktails was as cool as a mafia boss's wife.
