Visited the New Hatsuyuki Frisco Branch in Dallas
⭐️The specialty sushi and sashimi are all listed on a small blackboard. Ordering feels like solving a puzzle! The restaurant seems to be run by a family (?) of Koreans. On the blackboard, each dish is marked with "su" for a piece of sushi (usually one piece) and "sa" for a serving of sashimi (typically four or five slices). 🍜Recommendations from the staff (and me): Salmon with Truffle Ponzu (sashimi): A must-order! Gindara (Black Cod, sushi): The grilled version is super fragrant. Bluefin Tuna Chutoro (sushi): Absolutely delicious! This is my favorite. Madai (Red Snapper, sashimi): Very tasty. Other dishes I tried and enjoyed: 🍣Red Snapper sushi 🍣Scallop with Chop Toro sushi 🍣Lobster handroll 🍣Eel handroll 🍣Salmon Belly sushi (very flavorful, but a bit too fatty for my taste) Overall Impressions: Everything I tried was amazing! Maybe because I didn’t order too much, but my boyfriend and I were both very full. Surprisingly, our total bill (excluding tips and tax) was only $150. I think it’s definitely worth a visit! #Dallas #DallasLife #DallasSurroundings #DallasEats
