Visited the University of Minnesota (1)π
Finally, on a bright and sunny day, I brought my kids to visit the renowned University of Minnesota. βοΈ Established in 1851, the University of Minnesota is hailed as a Public Ivy and boasts alumni including 22 Nobel laureates, a former Chief Justice of the United States, two former U.S. Vice Presidents, and founders of several Fortune 500 companies. Many world-class technologies and inventions were born here, including the flight recorder (black box), retractable seatbelts, pacemakers, and cardiopulmonary resuscitators. βοΈ The University of Minnesota performed the world's first successful open-heart surgery and is home to the world's largest kidney transplant program. In my opinion, if it weren't for the harsh winters here, the university's ranking would be even higher. βοΈ Of course, when visiting the University of Minnesota, you have to check out the famous Weisman Art Museum, which is considered a Minneapolis landmark. βοΈ The museum was designed by the renowned architect Frank Gehry. π¨ #Minneapolis ππ
