Visiting Fujiko F. Fujio Museum in Takayama π
πΊοΈI went to the museum of Mr. Fujiko F. Fujio (the creator of Doraemon)! It's filled with original artworks. Although he became famous after creating "Q-Taro," seeing his works from when he was just 14 years old is super interesting! π¨ No photos allowed, though. On the way, I passed through Takayama Castle Park. π° The Fujiko F. Fujio Museum is located next to another museum, which happened to be closed that day. πβ¨ I was about to leave when I met two sharp-eyed Chinese girls who noticed there was another open museum right next door. πΊοΈ It turned out to be the one I was looking for! If I hadn't struck up a conversation with them, I would have missed out on this special place. πΏ πβ¨ Time was tight, so I only managed to visit the Doraemon Walkway (as shown in Photo 2) and the original artwork exhibition. πΊοΈI'll leave a map in the comments for anyone who's interested and has time to explore further. πΊοΈ Photo 2 and 3 are located near the station, heading towards the castle. πβ¨ Just take the corridor, turn left, then right, and go downstairs. πΈ πΊοΈPhoto 3 features a message from Mr. Fujio: "In 1933, I was born in Takayama. Playing in the nature of my hometown helped me grow both physically and mentally. πβ¨ We hope this park, born in the ever-evolving Takayama, will continue to be an oasis for children, a place that forever nurtures their dreams and creativity." π³ #Takayama #FujikoFujioMuseum πβ¨
