πAfter getting off the bus, I followed the signs near the bus stop and strolled for about 15 minutes to the reception. π Upon arrival, I registered and paid the admission fee. Although there were WeChat Pay and Alipay advertisements, cash was still required. In return, I received a sticker and a guidebook. ππΏ The stickers come in two colors to distinguish between English and Japanese-speaking visitors. ππΏSince the tour involves an hour of walking outdoors, you can check your backpacks at the entrance. π The main attractions are Isamu Noguchi's studio and residence in Takamatsu. π‘ 1οΈβ£ The old and new studios each have their own unique charm. The old studio is filled with many of his completed works. The modern abstract sculptures placed in the rustic interior create a fascinating atmosphere. π Visitors quietly explore the space, and the blend of old and new is mesmerizing. The new studio is surrounded by a circular stone wall. The old tree branches at the entrance are lush and sprawling, resembling an π octopus. ππΏ Various stone sculptures of different shapes and sizes are placed around the area, creating an inviting and relaxing environment after a couple of laps. π³ #Takamatsu ππΏ
