W Hollywood – A Fantastical Journey Through

Staying at the W Hollywood after the W West Beverly Hills was a night-and-day difference! 😮 The W Hollywood outperforms nearly every U.S. hotel in value, service, and design — all for under $300 a night 💸. Plus, I used 40k points + a suite upgrade to get the Fantastic Suite 🧙✨. Hands down my best hotel experience so far! ⭐ Located right on the world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame 🌟 and next to the Pantages Theatre, the W Hollywood has been a hub for film, music, and fashion since it opened in 2010. In 2024, the Rockwell Group reimagined the hotel, blending W’s bold style with classic Hollywood glam — inspired by movie culture, music, and Southern California’s natural beauty. 🎬 The redesign revolves around “cinematic storytelling” and “SoCal landscapes,” making you feel like you’re inside a Hollywood movie — full of light, drama, and magic. 💭 As you enter, you’re greeted by a dramatic lobby with mirrored and translucent ceilings that play with light like a movie set 🎥. The layered seating mimics rolling California hills 🏔️, and the color palette mirrors L.A.’s dreamy sunset skies. 🌆 Every room pays homage to Hollywood’s Golden Age while mixing in modern tech and chic touches. Blue glass window frames reflect California’s sky and ocean 🌊, creating a film-like glow. Furniture takes cues from classic camera designs, and lighting mimics vintage studio spotlights — so you feel like the star of your own movie 🌟. 🌴 The WET rooftop pool offers stunning views of L.A. and features a sunset bar inspired by golden-hour moments from classic films 🍹🌇. The revamped Delphine Restaurant embraces Old Hollywood Art Deco style 🍽️, serving French and Mediterranean cuisine. Due to a delayed check-in, a toilet issue, and missing shower gel (only two shampoos? 😅), the manager kindly offered a $280 credit 🏷️. I tried the beef tartare with $18 salty rice (😬), plus grilled fish and shrimp — delicious! Breakfast was simple but satisfying with a wrap and savory onion bagel 🥯. 🤯 The biggest surprise? On my last day, they apologized again with 50k points + a suite voucher refund 🎫! They even let me pick non-alcoholic minibar drinks for free 🥤. All I paid was the destination fee — basically a free stay! 😱 I was blown away by their sincerity. This wasn’t just a stay — it was an experience. The best hotel treatment I’ve had in the U.S.! #LifeInUSA #Hollywood #WalkOfFame #Los Angeles #HotelGoals 🌴🎉
