W Minneapolis - The Foshay(1)
W Minneapolis is truly a breath of fresh air among North American W hotels. π It's no secret that North American W hotels have a reputation for being overpriced and underwhelming. π’π However, the W Minneapolis, which is converted from the historic Foshay Tower, is a delightful exception. Both the room facilities and guest services are truly impressive. π’π I booked a basic room for two nights at the cash price of $460, and with the Amex Marriott Brilliant offer for Marriott Luxury Brands, which gives a $150 discount for every $500 spent, it was quite a bargain. As a Platinum member, I was upgraded to a corner room on the first night due to room availability. On the second day at noon, I asked the front desk if they could do anything about it, and they were very accommodating, upgrading me to a Fantastic Suite. π’π Although the suite is only about 50 square meters, the facilities are top-notch, featuring a separate shower and bathtub, which is considered a high-end configuration for North American hotels. π¨ #USA ππ
