๐ ใ12:30-15:00ใBefore the Wakakusa Yamayaki, special stage events will be held at the foot of the mountain: Deer Biscuit Toss Competition, food stalls related to Kasuga Taisha, Kลfuku-ji, and Tลdai-ji, etc. ๐ข ๐ ใ16:45ใWakakusa Mountain Sacred Fire Kindling Ceremony. ๐ฅ ๐ ใ17:05ใDeparture of the Sacred Fire Procession, carrying the sacred fire that is used solely for the Wakakusa Yamayaki ceremony. ๐ฅ๐ ๐ ใ17:25ใAt the torch lighting area near Mizunotani Jinja, the sacred fire that serves as the ignition for the Wakakusa Yamayaki is lit. ๐ฅ ๐ ใ17:40ใMonks from Tลdai-ji and Kลfuku-ji chant sutras for blessings, and the sacred fire procession moves towards the center of Wakakusa Mountain to prepare for ignition. ๐ ๐ ใ18:15ใFireworks display before the Wakakusa Yamayaki.
