Weekend Day Trip in Tacoma 🚗🌿
Today, my partner and I joined our colleagues’ family to explore more hidden gems in Tacoma — from cozy brunch spots to scenic parks and sweet treats! Here’s how our relaxed yet fulfilling day went: 1️⃣ Brunch at Three Hearts Cafe ☕️🍴 We started our day at this charming local favorite. I ordered the steak sandwich — and it was incredible! 🥖🥩 The bread was fresh and flavorful, and the green herb sauce totally stole the show. Their dessert case was full of tempting options — we tried the matcha black sesame shortbread 🍵⚫, and it was delicate, not too sweet, and absolutely delicious. A must-try for matcha and sesame lovers! 2️⃣ Chambers Creek Regional Park 🦀🌊 After brunch, we headed to this beautiful park with a relaxed vibe. There’s a golf course nearby ⛳, but we took a gentle walk down toward the water. The views were gorgeous — and guess what? We spotted tons of tiny crabs scuttling along the shore! 🦀😍 It was such a fun and unexpected moment. The trail is peaceful and perfect for a family stroll or a slow, mindful wander. 3️⃣ Gelato & Affogato Stop 🍦☕ No day out is complete without something sweet! We stopped for authentic Italian gelato and I had an affogato — a shot of espresso poured over creamy vanilla gelato. Heaven in a cup! 😋❤️ The perfect bittersweet ending to a lovely afternoon. All the spots we visited had great reviews — and they totally lived up to the hype! Tacoma keeps surprising us with its food, nature, and laid-back charm 🌟. Highly recommend this easy one-day itinerary if you’re around the area. Whether with family or friends, Tacoma’s got those little joys that make a weekend special 💚. #Tacoma #SeattleLife #NorthwestLiving #WeekendVibes #BrunchGoals #GelatoLove #WashingtonParks #DayTripIdeas #FoodieAdventure
