Weekend Outdoor Hike Near LA with Superb Views (Zero Cost Edition)

Hey everyone! If you’re in Los Angeles, you probably already know that due to the recent wildfires, many hiking trails around Pasadena and Malibu have been permanently closed 😢. But guess what? I recently discovered this amazing new trail, and it’s absolutely worth checking out! The whole hike takes about 1.5 hours—it’s not too long, but it’s moderately challenging. Make sure to check out the route map I attached at the end! The views are absolutely stunning 🌊🏞️—you get a breathtaking, direct overlook of the ocean toward Palos Verdes. Even though the sun was shining super brightly, the strong winds kept things from getting too hot. I started around 11 AM and was back at my car by 12:30 PM! A little pro tip: don’t forget to apply sunscreen and definitely bring a hat 🧴👒! Once you start climbing, there’s very little shade and not too many green areas around, so the UV exposure is pretty much at its peak. 📍 Location: 6264 Ocean Terrace Dr, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275 (You can simply search for "Filiorum Reserve Trailhead"!) 🅿️ Parking Situation: The trailhead is located in a residential area with plenty of free street parking! So, what are you waiting for? Lace up those hiking boots and enjoy the adventure! Let me know in the comments if you’ve been here or if you have any other trail recommendations—I’m always looking for new spots to explore! 👇🥾 #ViewsYouCanOnlyGetHiking #USA #TravelUSA #MoneySavingTipsUSA #USTravel #LosAngeles #NearLosAngeles #LosAngelesTravel #LongBeach #EasyHikeTrails
