While exploring food in West LA, I passed by this Turkish spot and was completely blown away by their desserts! 🍰 Künefe – MUST ORDER! This traditional cheese pastry is nothing short of magical. Served warm, each bite delivers an incredible mix of textures and flavors—crunchy, creamy, nutty, and caramelized. It’s sweet but not overwhelming—reminiscent of the comforting sweetness of Chinese fried sugar dough treats. Mild lamb flavor without being gamey, but overall the seasoning was a bit flat and the meat slices were thin. Turkish “Pizza”: Not recommended—too light on toppings, maybe because their focus is on the doner. Overall: Mains are average, but the dessert is absolutely divine.
