Curious to explore the local dining scene in West LA, I asked around among my foreign colleagues, and Hatchet Hall was the most highly recommended spot. It’s the perfect restaurant for a date with its cozy, romantic atmosphere. The menu is super cute and full of delightful details! 🍴 📝 Dishes - Grilled Elk Loin : Figs with elk loin – refreshing and not greasy at all. It’s truly delicious! - Apple Brandy Braised Short Rib : A hearty portion of short rib, cooked to tender perfection. The flavor is quite nice. - Shrimp & Grits : This dish is amazing!! The shrimp are super fresh and unique. - Deviled Egg : Thought it would be a great appetizer, but the taste was just average. 🍹 Cocktails - Hermes : With lemon and vodka, it’s light and refreshing – definitely a good choice. - Art School Superstar : Slightly sweeter than Hermes, but super delicious!! 📋 Tips - Using an Amex card will automatically apply a RESY voucher. I found out later that Amex refunded me $50. - This place is quite popular, so be sure to make a reservation.
