🌟West Seattle’s coastline features an amazing Alki Beach Trail, which is a great place for a stroll with the whole family, including the pooch, when the weather is nice. The trail offers stunning coastal views, with beaches to rest at any time, and cozy bars and ice cream shops by the sand — it’s super relaxing. Today, I want to share a seafood spot - Salty’s on Alki Beach. It’s located right on the trail, and both the flavors and the restaurant’s scenery are absolutely on point! It’s perfect for dates, group dinners, and parties! 🌟+++ Alki Trio +++ A collection of three appetizers that will satisfy your cravings all at once! The portions are huge, not like a typical appetizer at all. You get fried calamari, coconut shrimp, and crab cakes, with very little batter, it’s all about the quality. The dipping sauces are to die for! 🌟+++ Grilled Halibut +++ Super tender fish, probably the tenderest I’ve had in a year! The nutty sauce has a slight tanginess that’s just right, paired with a grain-like rice, it’s fantastic! 🌟+++ Seafood Cioppino +++ A tomato-based seafood medley with a unique twist. Dunk the accompanying baguette into the sauce and you’ll clean your plate! There’s a variety of seafood, something for everyone, and I love it! Plus, the portion is generous. 🌟+++ Drinks +++ Blindly ordered two cocktails and they were both very refreshing, with a nice balance of flavors, not too sweet! 🌟Half of the restaurant is over the water, and if you book in advance, scoring a window seat is amazing. The outdoor seating is super chill if the weather is nice. We happened to be celebrating a birthday, and they decorated the table, gave us a card, and two pieces of birthday cake. Highly recommend coming here to enjoy Seattle’s beautiful summer.
