Whale watching in the Gold Coast

Day 1: ✈️ Sydney - Gold Coast Airport (14:10-15:30) 🏨 The Peninsula Gold Coast (Surfers Paradise 🏄) 🚌 It is recommended to buy a transit card. You can purchase a go explore card at WHSmith supermarket, located at carousel 2 of Gold Coast Airport. ⚠️ There are 2 types of go explore cards: 1️⃣ Daily pass: $10 AUD per day, no card fee or deposit, unlimited rides (cost-effective if you plan to take public transport to visit attractions in one day). 2⃣️ Regular card: Requires a deposit, with money loaded onto it. Fares are deducted based on each route taken (deposit and unused balance are refundable, available at Gold Coast card purchase points or at the airport station of Brisbane's metro). ❗️ It’s relatively hard to get a taxi from Gold Coast Airport to the city, so taking the bus is faster. ❗️ Tap your card when boarding and alighting the bus. ❗️ For trams, tap your card on the platform before boarding and after alighting. ❗️ You need to press the button to open the bus door; the driver won’t stop otherwise. 🚌: Take bus 777 to Burleigh Beach (we booked a restaurant here 🍴, the same one as Jay Chou’s, The Tropic). If you’re not dining, you can take the bus directly to the terminal stop at Broadbeach South, then transfer to a tram 🚃 or take a taxi to the hotel 🏨 according to your needs. Day 2: 8:00-10:15: Sea World Whale Watching Cruise 🐳 (book tickets online in advance for approximately 433 RMB per person; arrive at the Sea World Marina at 7:30 to queue for boarding) A must-see!!! Experience nature!!! The vitality of jumping whales 🐳 almost brought me to tears. 10:30-12:30: SkyPoint (，enjoy views of the Gold Coast from above; tickets can be purchased in advance for 178 RMB per person; lunch is available here, with burgers and fries, but the taste is average) Afternoon: 🆓 Free time 1⃣️ Stay near Surfers Paradise 🏄 and choose sea activities according to personal preference. 2⃣️ Go shopping at nearby outlets (Levi's is cheaper than in Sydney; slim girls can check out large-sized children's clothing, which is 30% cheaper). Day 3: Since we’re returning in the evening, take your luggage 🧳 before going out in the morning. 🚌 Hotel - Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary: approximately 1 hour Morning: Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary (opens 09:00–16:00) 🎫 Sanctuary ticket + koala cuddling: approximately 360 RMB per person 1⃣️ The sanctuary has luggage storage facilities for 5 AUD; you can cuddle a koala 🐨 here, which requires a separate fee – no cuddling if not purchased. 2⃣️ Half a day is enough for Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
