Pasadena’s Pastry Game is Strong — Who Called It a Desert?! I don’t usually go out of my way for croissants or Danish pastries, but after seeing someone drive 30 minutes just to visit this spot (thanks, Xiaohongshu!), I had to try — and it was right near my hotel! 🍂 Almond Danish Wanted an almond croissant, but it wasn’t ready yet — so I went for this almond Danish instead. The laminated dough was crisp and structured, with a satisfying crunch like stepping on autumn leaves 🍁. The almond flavor was rich and fragrant — a bit sweet, but totally delightful. 🍫 Pain Au Chocolat Hard to pinpoint why, but this one was truly exceptional. Flaky, buttery layers outside, and inside — oozy, melted chocolate that felt like a warm hug.
