What Good Eats Have I Tried in LA? (Lost 5 lbs Edition 💪)
Thanks, girlies, for feeding me during my heartbreak healing era! 🤤 Who knew Santa Monica had such great value-for-money spots? First, we grabbed two butterfly pea flower lattes at one café — unexpectedly delicious! But since they were past brunch hours, we moved to another super popular restaurant! ✨ Santa Monica Hidden Gem Italian Spot: Fritto Misto Their squid ink pasta and fried seafood platter were absolutely amazing — total bang for your buck! 🤤 🍝 Must-orders: Squid Ink Pasta Rich, flavorful squid ink sauce with house-made pasta — perfectly al dente and loaded with fresh seafood. One bite and I knew I’d be back for this again and again. Fritto Misto (Fried Seafood Platter) Crispy outside, tender inside — slightly oily but so worth it. Squid, shrimp, scallops — all fried just right and deeply satisfying. That aroma and crunch are totally addictive! 🏡 Vibe & Service Fritto Misto has a simple yet cozy atmosphere — great for chatting with friends over a meal. Service was also impressive — attentive and polite staff made the whole experience feel special. 📍 Address: Fritto Misto, 620 Santa Monica Blvd #A, Santa Monica, CA 90401 😈 Back home and straight to the gym! I work out 3–4 times a week on average. Eat out with friends 1–2 times weekly — the rest of the time I cook clean meals at home, rarely ordering delivery. From early Sept to late Oct, I steadily lost 5 lbs 🎉 Still mid-range on my fitness journey — more work to do, but progress feels good! #LAEats #SantaMonicaFood #ItalianFood #FitLife #WeightLossJourney #FoodieFinds
