What I Ate This Week in LA 🐮🍽️
🍜 Lao Xi Noodle House – Michelin Recommended The Three-in-One Mixed Noodles are absolutely amazing! Loaded with savory minced pork—so satisfying. 🥢 Auntie Qiu Kitchen Pork ribs with rice cakes, tofu pudding, braised wheat gluten, and pan-fried buns—all super authentic flavors. 🍝 Menya Hanabi My personal favorite abura soba (oil-tossed noodles)—bold, rich, and fully loaded with toppings! 🌋 Red Rock The lava beef bowl with creamy sauce, beef, and onions—perfectly seasoned and not raw at all. 🥐 Fondry The flakiest croissants in LA (my #1 spot!). Go early—highly recommend pistachio and mushroom flavors. 🥨 OutOfOrdi Korean-style pretzel croissants—the black matcha one is insane, packed with filling! 🍲 SungNonDan Midnight solo dining essential—warming beef bone soup that soothes the soul. ☕ Modu Cafe Cute Korean café—desserts were disappointing, but drinks weren’t too sweet. 🍢 Little Skewer Formerly a cozy pub—their grilled chicken and skewers have a sweet-spicy seasoning that Southerners will love! ⚠️ Colette – Not Recommended Daniel Wu’s recommended Cantonese spot? Sadly, the chicken wing rice and char siu were dry and bland. #LAEats #CaliforniaLife #FoodDiary #EatLikeAStudent #WorkLifeEats #LAFoodGuide #NoodleLove
