๐ŸŒ What to Collect from Each Country: GB, NL, DE ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช

As a shopaholic & sentimental person, I looove to collect (or hoard) souvenirs & little keepsakes from my travels to remember the journey after it's over. I always make it a point to visit every museum gift shop & souvenir store to see what treasures I can buy. On my most recent trip to the UK/EU, I visited London, Amsterdam, and Berlin, so here's a list of things I got that are NON-PERISHABLE: Magnets & Keyrings Specifically quirky and unique magnets that cannot be found at EVERY souvenir/gift shop. I got the Queen Elizabeth & Corgi magnet from Leicester Square Garden, which was so funny. A windmill for AMS because I didn't manage to visit the Zaanse Schans Windmills. Van Gogh sunflower from the Van Gogh Museum in AMS because I love art & galleries. And a Brandenburg Gate from Berlin because it was the monogram on all the U-Bahn windows. For keyrings, I got a spinning Ravenclaw emblem from Harry Potter Studios, Victoria line logo from the transport museum (because I'm also Victoria, HAHAHA), a 221B Baker Street door from the Sherlock Holmes Museum, and a red pointe shoe from the Royal Opera House in London. ๐Ÿงฒ๐Ÿ—๏ธ Tote Bags & Pouches I got the limited Vermeer collection blue tote from the Rijksmuseum in AMS, which makes me look like a pretentious art student, which I love. Also, a Bloch bag from my pointe shoe purchase in London. The sunflower pouch was from the National Gallery London. ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿ‘œ Tickets & Stamps My metro tickets & train passes. Gallery tickets for Courtauld and Natural History. Checkpoint Charlie border stamp at the magazine store! This was tip-based and really special. ๐ŸŽซ๐Ÿ“ฎ Postcards Bought 2 postcards of paintings in the Rijksmuseum because they were unusually captivating. ๐Ÿ“ฌ Lastly, I kept my butterbeer mug from Harry Potter Studios (it was so delicious) and also picked up a copy of Esquire in London from a magazine stand with Natasha Lyonne's face on it. Other than these little trinkets, I also bought books, vinyls, makeup, clothes from thrifting, jewelry, and went to an instant photo booth, which are great non-perishable "souvenirs" to get on your travels! Let me know if y'all want a food guide too! #souvenir #thingstobuy #museum #traveltips #travelguide #WhereToShop #europe #AestheticTravel
