What to Do Alone in Dallas

What did I do alone in Dallas for four days? Dallas truly offers a lot of novel experiences. This post mainly introduces three places. 🟣 Fort Worth Stock Yards 131 E Exchange Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76164 On the first day of visiting museums, I thought, since I’m already in Texas, shouldn’t I find a bullfight to watch? So, I came to this street. šŸŗThe entire area no longer serves its original purpose of livestock trading and has transformed into a tourist and commercial street. There are many shops and restaurants here, and every so often, cattle parade down the street, which is quite interesting. The so-called bullfight is more like a stunt performance involving bulls, but it’s still very dangerous and worth watching. The ticket prices range from $20 to $50. 🟤 The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden 8525 Garland Rd, Dallas, TX 75218 Visiting a botanical garden on a day when it’s over 100°F (40°C) is quite a brave choice. I can imagine that this place would be very pleasant when the weather is cooler, as it’s next to a large lake. The garden itself isn’t very big; you can walk around it in about an hour. šŸ·It’s worth mentioning the DeGolyer Mansion in the center of the garden, the former residence of an American petroleum geologist and a retreat for the wealthy. You can get a sense of the joy of Old Money here. It’s said to be the first air-conditioned house in the southwestern United States, and the air conditioning still works to this day, showing its high quality. #Dallas #SoloTravel #Bullfighting #Texas
