What to Eat in Asheville, NC 🍽️✨
After visiting Shoji Spa & Resort, here’s what we tried: Chestnut 🍳: Had brunch here — the cocktails were great! Isa’s French Bistro 🇫🇷: Dinner portions were generous and fairly priced. Double D’s Coffee & Desserts 🚌☕: A must for photos & sweet treats! Chocolate Fetish 🍫: Perfect for chocolate lovers. Got a bit bored and drove to Gatlinburg 🏔️ — originally planned to hike, but it was too windy 🍃… so we ended up having milkshakes at The Crazy Mason instead! Also rode the Gatlinburg Skylift ($34 per person — note: it might not be safe for young kids, no seat belts 😬). After a 3-hour drive 🚗, mom didn’t feel like pizza, so we tried: Red Ginger Dim Sum 🥟: It was okay… not as good as Atlanta’s (forgot to take pics 😅). Asheville’s streets are super photogenic 📸, and sometimes locals gather at night for drum circles — such a cool vibe! 💡 Pro tip: Book restaurants on Saturdays! We couldn’t get into a Japanese place, so we went to: Shanghai Dumpling House 🥢: Their soup dumplings (XLB) are juicy and delicious 💯 — but stick to those and water. Skip the other dishes ❌. Gatlinburg is also a tourist hotspot — my parents loved walking around, but trails were closed due to high winds 🚫🏞️. 📍 Red Ginger Dim Sum & Tapas 82 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28801 🚗 Parking in the garage behind the building 📍 Shanghai Dumpling House 37 Biltmore Ave, Asheville, NC 28801 🚗 Park in the garage next to White Duck Taco Shop #Asheville #LifeInUSA #TravelUSA #FoodGuide
