What to Eat in San Diego 😶💬
Went to the super famous restaurant in La Jolla, San Diego—Georges at the Cove! 🏝🍽 📍Georges at the Cove 1250 Prospect St, La Jolla, CA 92037 I made a reservation on their website one day in advance. I really wanted a seaside table on the terrace but was torn between Ocean Terrace Full-Dining (free) and Ocean Terrace Premium Seating ($60 minimum for guaranteed seaside seats) 😵💫💦 In the end, I decided to take a chance and went with the regular Full-Dining option. And guess what? I actually got a front-row seaside table that day! 🙌🏻✨ So I think if you go a bit later in the afternoon (like after 2 PM), you might not need to choose the Premium option to get a seaside seat 🤔💭 Just let the staff know in advance that you’d like a table by the sea, and they’ll usually try their best to accommodate! 🧑🏻🍳 What I ordered: • Salmon Tartare / $19 The caviar on top seemed fake, but the potato salad underneath was delicious—I actually liked this dish. • Lobster Roll / $45 Super huge! Super tasty! Highly recommend sharing it with someone. • Local Rock Crab Spaghetti / $29 The flavor was amazing. Overall, every dish was consistently tasty 😋 Sunshine + sea breeze + ocean view = the perfect combo 🌊✨ Great for dates or hanging out with friends!
