What to Eat in Sarajevo
🍽️ Dveri 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Book at least 2 days in advance! (I booked Tuesday for Thursday dinner—only one slot left. Weekend dinners get fully booked 🥹). Beef steak (37 KM): One of the best steaks I’ve ever had! #1 in terms of value—crispy outside, tender inside, with perfectly roasted veggies. Sadly, didn’t get to try other specialties. 🍖 Konoba Fakat 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Ordered grilled lamb chops, chicken veggie soup, and fresh lemon juice. Lamb chops: Amazing! Veggie soup: A bit salty. Lemon juice: Sour but just how I like it. Total: 28 KM (great value!). Friendly service. Will try the grilled fish next time. 🔥 Ćevabdžinica Željo 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Three branches—I only saw #1 and #3. Branch #3 has better ambiance, but service is meh at both. Each branch has different menus. The famous grilled kidneys (teleći bubreg) aren’t at Branch #1. P5 meat patty: Traditional Bosnian dish (available everywhere)—surprisingly tasty! Grilled kidneys: Too gamey for me (avoid if you dislike offal). Overall, great value—10+ KM fills you up! 🍰 Mrvica Caffe & Bakery 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Came for the Basque cheesecake (thanks). It did NOT disappoint—rich, creamy, and molten inside. Ate it 3 times in 4 days—the staff memorized my order 😂. Cozy ambiance, AC, spacious seating. Other desserts: Cakes, ice cream (~7.5 KM each). But I only had eyes for the cheesecake 😋. Service is friendly. No extra charge for dine-in + free water! #Bosnia #Foodie #Travel
