What to Eat in Savannah šŸ“

What to Eat in Savannah šŸ“ Fall break is here! I drove to Savannah and tried all sorts of delicious (and some interesting) food—here’s the roundup šŸš—ļ½ž Leopoldā€˜s Ice Cream It totally lives up to the hype! The seasonal vegan strawberry flavor šŸ“ is incredible—so fresh, sweet, and creamy, I ate it two days in a row without getting tired of it! Their mint chocolate chip is also great, but the pistachio one has an almond-like taste that I didn’t love… Personal preference, but the strawberry is a must-try for sure šŸ¦! Collins Quarter Last time I was here, I loved their avocado toast, so this time I wanted to try their sweet brunch options. The French toast itself is amazing—fluffy, buttery, and perfectly cooked. But here’s the thing: everything it’s served with (like the syrup, fruit compote) is way too sweet. It’s a shame because the toast alone is so good—next time I’ll probably stick to their savory dishes šŸ˜…! Chocolate by Adam Turoni I stumbled upon this shop while walking around, and their Halloween-themed chocolates were so cute I couldn’t decide which to pick! I asked the staf store clerk) to recommend her favorite, and she suggested the milk chocolate truffle—it was rich, smooth, and not overly sweet. Total chocolate lover’s dream šŸ«! Chive Sea Bar and Lounge Their prawn risotto is hands down the best meal I had in those two days! The prawns are huge, bouncy, and perfectly pan-seared with a nice crisp. The risotto underneath is creamy but not heavy—every bite is full of flavor. Just a heads up: one plate is pretty filling if you’re eating alone, but it’s totally worth it šŸ¤! Mi Vida (on Tybee Island) After watching the sunrise, I searched for nearby brunch spots—and this one was just 200 meters from the parking lot, so I popped in. Their coffee is fragrant and smooth, and the brunch set comes with fresh fruit—the pineapple šŸ was super sweet! I added an extra poached egg, and it was cooked perfectly (runny yolk and all)ļ½ž Such a nice way to start the day after sunrise šŸŒ…! Treylor Park I was curious about the ā€œchicken pancake tacoā€ when I saw it on the menu, so I made a special trip to get it to-go before leaving. Honestly? It’s so weird! It tastes like sweet and sour pork and fried chicken topped on a pancake—such a strange combination. Not my cup of tea at all šŸ˜‚! I stopped by to buy some souvenirs before heading back, and they offer free samples—such a nice touch! The chocolate chip cookies were said to be the best, but they were sold out by the time I got there (sad face 😢). I ended up getting salted caramel and scotch oat flavors—one of them tastes a lot like Lotus biscuits? It’s fragrant, but overall, they’re too sweet for me. Still a good option if you love sweet treats, though šŸŖ! #savannah#USATravel#SoloTrip
