What to Eat in Savannah š“
What to Eat in Savannah š“ Fall break is here! I drove to Savannah and tried all sorts of delicious (and some interesting) foodāhereās the roundup šļ½ Leopoldās Ice Cream It totally lives up to the hype! The seasonal vegan strawberry flavor š is incredibleāso fresh, sweet, and creamy, I ate it two days in a row without getting tired of it! Their mint chocolate chip is also great, but the pistachio one has an almond-like taste that I didnāt love⦠Personal preference, but the strawberry is a must-try for sure š¦! Collins Quarter Last time I was here, I loved their avocado toast, so this time I wanted to try their sweet brunch options. The French toast itself is amazingāfluffy, buttery, and perfectly cooked. But hereās the thing: everything itās served with (like the syrup, fruit compote) is way too sweet. Itās a shame because the toast alone is so goodānext time Iāll probably stick to their savory dishes š ! Chocolate by Adam Turoni I stumbled upon this shop while walking around, and their Halloween-themed chocolates were so cute I couldnāt decide which to pick! I asked the staf store clerk) to recommend her favorite, and she suggested the milk chocolate truffleāit was rich, smooth, and not overly sweet. Total chocolate loverās dream š«! Chive Sea Bar and Lounge Their prawn risotto is hands down the best meal I had in those two days! The prawns are huge, bouncy, and perfectly pan-seared with a nice crisp. The risotto underneath is creamy but not heavyāevery bite is full of flavor. Just a heads up: one plate is pretty filling if youāre eating alone, but itās totally worth it š¤! Mi Vida (on Tybee Island) After watching the sunrise, I searched for nearby brunch spotsāand this one was just 200 meters from the parking lot, so I popped in. Their coffee is fragrant and smooth, and the brunch set comes with fresh fruitāthe pineapple š was super sweet! I added an extra poached egg, and it was cooked perfectly (runny yolk and all)ļ½ Such a nice way to start the day after sunrise š ! Treylor Park I was curious about the āchicken pancake tacoā when I saw it on the menu, so I made a special trip to get it to-go before leaving. Honestly? Itās so weird! It tastes like sweet and sour pork and fried chicken topped on a pancakeāsuch a strange combination. Not my cup of tea at all š! I stopped by to buy some souvenirs before heading back, and they offer free samplesāsuch a nice touch! The chocolate chip cookies were said to be the best, but they were sold out by the time I got there (sad face š¢). I ended up getting salted caramel and scotch oat flavorsāone of them tastes a lot like Lotus biscuits? Itās fragrant, but overall, theyāre too sweet for me. Still a good option if you love sweet treats, though šŖ! #savannah#USATravel#SoloTrip
