By mid-July, the wheat had turned golden yellow 🟑🌾 mixed with patches of green – gorgeous, but not the full Windows desktop vibe (come in spring for that!) πŸ“ Kamiak Butte County Park Since Steptoe Butte is still closed, we hiked the Kamiak Butte Trail instead πŸ₯Ύβ›°οΈ – peaceful and beautiful! πŸ“ Manito Park Loved the Rose Garden 🌹 and Duncan Garden – so photogenic and serene! πŸ“ Riverfront Park Waterfalls right in downtown! πŸ’¦πŸ™οΈ Street parking available ~$2+/hr. πŸ“ Historic Davenport Hotel A gorgeous, historic hotel with stunning interior design 🏨✨ πŸ“ Spokane County Courthouse Looks like a Disney castle from the outside! πŸ°πŸ’« πŸ“ Gonzaga University Took a relaxing stroll around the campus πŸŽ“πŸƒ πŸ“ Bowl & Pitcher A must-visit! Cross the bridge and relax by the river – listening to the water was so calming 🌊😌 🍜 Lunch at Kim’s Korean Restaurant – okay, but not worth a special visit. 🏨 Stayed at Ruby River Hotel in Downtown Spokane πŸŒ† Day Three πŸ“ Crown Point Vista Viewed the Grand Coulee Dam – the largest dam in the U.S.! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ›‘πŸ’§ πŸ“ Dry Falls Vista House Explored the remains of an ancient dried-up waterfall 🏜️🌡 πŸ“ Lake Lenore Caves Trailhead Wanted to see ice caves, but no ice in summer πŸ˜…β›°οΈ πŸš— Then headed #Home 🏑❀️ #Seattle #SeattleLife #Spokane #WheatFields #RoadTrip #WashingtonState #TravelDiary
