đŸ”„Where to Go in Mexico City for the Weekend | Toluca Town

✹【Exploring Toluca Town】 💧 Cosmovitral JardĂn BotĂĄnico (Botanical Garden): After getting off the bus, take an Uber (about 15 minutes). This garden is near the town center. Though not very large, the murals inside are even more impressive than the plants. ⭐ Toluca is known as Mexico’s second city with the most museums and churches. Just in the downtown area, we spotted four churches. đŸŒčA casual stroll is rewarding—it was raining that day, and we saw many pigeons sheltering on sculptures, creating a very atmospheric scene. ⭕ While wandering around, we found a shop specializing in minerals, located on the street to the right after exiting the botanical garden. The three of us spent nearly an hour there and learned a lot of interesting facts about minerals. 🌈Museo de Bellas Artes de Toluca: This fine arts museum showcases works from the colonial period to modern times, particularly masterpieces by local artists. 🌮Finally, for food, you can try CafĂ© con Leche Independencia. Though the flavors aren’t exceptional, the tamarind tea served before the meal and the corn porridge were quite nice. #MexicoTravel #Toluca #MexicanCuisine
