Who else hasn‘t heard about this Chinese restaurant in Venice?! 🇮🇹

It’s right near the train station and I’m not exaggerating—it’s INCREDIBLY GOOD!! We ate there two days in a row 😋 On the first day, we were actually going for coffee but stumbled upon this place. The sign said “Baozi, Youtiao, Sticky Rice” — I literally couldn’t walk past it 🚶‍♀️💫 Had to go inside and check it out… and once we stepped in, we just didn’t want to leave! Ended up having a full meal there. And guess what? It’s even cheaper than the UK! We ordered: 3 soy milk drinks (Haven’t had them in ages 🥹 + each comes with a piece of youtiao!) 1 extra youtiao 1 tea egg 1 basket of Xiaolongbao 1 bowl of sticky rice All for less than €20! 💶 The soy milk was just perfect — not too thick, not too light 👌 The tea egg — MUST eat while hot! So fragrant and flavorful. Haven’t had one this good in forever. The youtiao was decent — still way better than anything in the UK though 😂 And the sticky rice?? OMGGG — it had mushrooms, minced pork, crispy youtiao bits and scallion oil. We couldn’t stop eating it… one bite after another 🥄 It was so good I almost cried. One bite: “WOW” Another bite: “WOW”, “SO GOOD”, “THIS IS AMAZING TOO”, “WE’RE COMING BACK TOMORROW!!” The next day we woke up early just to eat there again (also ‘cause we had a train to catch 🚆) Ordered: 1 bowl of pulled noodles 1 bowl of wonton soup 1 steamer of Xiaolongbao 1 veggie bun 2 tea eggs 3 soy milks (pls forgive us, UK study abroad kids who missed soy milk too much 🥲) The owner auntie even gave us a free oyster pancake! 🫓 The beef noodle soup — noodles were super chewy, loads of beef offal, and the broth was delicious. The shrimp wontons — just looking at them made me happy. One bite and I felt like I was swimming in the ocean 🦐🌊 The soup had seaweed, dried shrimp, mushrooms, minced meat — soooo flavorful! Even the greens were tasty. The oyster pancake was filled with radish, carrot, oysters, lean meat, and peanuts. Not exactly like homemade, but still pretty good! We were so stuffed we couldn’t finish — ended up taking two buns away. We were literally dancing while eating, humming along to the music playing in the restaurant 🎶 The owner said we British students were all so cute (and that we can EAT 😂) The staff were super sweet and the lady speaks really good Italian too! 📍 MOZI BAR-RAMEN ⭐ Google Maps Rating: 4.8 📍 Address: Via Piave, 101, 30171 Venezia VE, Italy #StudyAbroadInUK #StudentFoodie #ChineseBreakfast #VeniceEats #SoyMilkAndYoutiao #StickyRice #Wonton #FoodDiscovery 🥢✨
