Who Gets It? I’m So Into This Place’s Roast Duck! 🦆💘

Hey everyone~ Went to a Cantonese spot with friends and just ordered a few simple dishes—but I was so pleasantly surprised! Found a real hidden treasure 🏴☠️ Several dishes were absolutely amazing: Roast duck 🦆, fish soup noodles 🐟, salted fish & eggplant clay pot 🍆, coconut curry beef brisket 🍛 🦆 The Noodle 📍 19755 Colima Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748 📍 4183 Chino Hills Pkwy P, Chino Hills, CA 91709 【Iced Lemon Tea】 Gotta say—even though every Cantonese spot has it, theirs is extra refreshing and subtly sweet. The tea isn’t too strong, lightly sweetened, with plenty of lemon slices 🍋 Refills available—big plus! 【BBQ Platter】 I picked cha siu + roast duck The cha siu was okay—a bit on the dry side. But the roast duck 🦆 OMG I’m in love! The skin is crispy, no greasy fat, with a sweet aftertaste—so good! 【Curry Beef Brisket】 Different from Japanese or Thai style—this is classic Cantonese curry. Rich, coconutty curry sauce—looks simple but is super satisfying with rice! Only $11.99—perfect for a solo lunch 💰 【Fish Soup Noodles】 I went with original fish broth + ham + fish balls + fried fish tofu I usually don’t like fish 🐟 (afraid of the fishy taste), but this broth had zero fishy smell—big win! The soup was warm, milky-white, clearly slow-cooked—so flavorful! You can pick 3 toppings—portions are generous! 【Salted Fish & Chicken Eggplant Clay Pot】 This dish is magical! I love eggplant, and the staff recommended it 🍆 When it arrived, the salted fish smelled a bit strong, but once you taste it—no fishiness at all! Just tender, savory eggplant 🍆 (probably pre-fried) and plenty of chicken chunks—not just for show! 【Steamed Chicken in Lotus Leaf】 This one was a letdown for me… I thought it’d be like the dim sum version 🪷 but it was totally different—just steamed chicken on a lotus leaf with minimal seasoning. Only ginger, cured pork, and sausage—so it tasted a bit gamey. The chicken was bony and skin-on, which was annoying to eat—not recommended if you’re lazy like me! Overall, this place is worth a visit for solid Cantonese food! Prices are cheap—we ate our fill, took leftovers, and it was only $110 after tip! My favorites: roast duck, fish soup noodles, curry beef brisket, and the eggplant clay pot. If you live nearby and crave Cantonese—give it a try! Have you been to The Noodle?
