It's actually Shiro Sushi's lunchtime sushi brunch! For just £39 per person, you get unlimited sushi, plus starters, mains, and desserts—it's such a steal! (And for just a little extra, you can enjoy unlimited drinks!) I found out about this place from a friend who works nearby in Liverpool Street, in the heart of the financial district. If they hadn't told me, I'd never have known this hidden gem was here! 🍹 Starters: The bao buns with braised pork are amazing—fork-tender meat with a teriyaki glaze that's not at all greasy. The vegetable tempura is also fantastic, especially the fried bell peppers! 🫑 If you love char siu, you're in for a treat—this pork bao is truly stunning! 🍣 The main attraction is the all-you-can-eat sushi, and it's worth every penny! The tuna and salmon nigiri are super fresh! Compared to other Japanese buffets in London, the quality here is way better. The sushi rolls are also great, with tempura shrimp and crab meat. Sushi lovers will be super satisfied! 🍗 The teriyaki chicken thigh is another standout! The skin is crispy and melts in your mouth, with a delicious grilled flavor that reminds me of yakitori. Even the fries are better than those from any fast-food place in the UK! 🍟 I highly recommend them. Another main dish, the seafood fried rice 🍛, is also amazing, packed with shrimp and salmon for those who prefer cooked dishes. 🍸 For drinks, I tried the classic Negroni and the Ureshi (a mocktail). The shiso and wasabi cocktail was my first time trying something like that, and it was super refreshing and palate-cleansing.
