I’ve always wondered—why does Jollibee get labeled as North America’s top fried chicken? 🤔 Curiosity got the best of me, so I drove half an hour today just to try it out—no regrets for the food run! 🚗 I ordered two flavors: the original (non-spicy) fried chicken and the Korean BBQ fried chicken 🍢. Let’s break down the taste! To be fair, the chicken is pretty crispy on the outside, and the meat inside is tender and juicy 🥰. The texture is solid, no complaints there. But… did it blow my mind? Not really. It’s just regular fried chicken, with a faint hint of chicken flavor (if that makes sense). Honestly, it’s not that different from KFC’s Crispy Chicken—both are good, but nothing extraordinary. Don’t get me wrong, it’s tasty, but it doesn’t live up to the "No.1" hype.
