Celebrating our 5th year anniversary, we came to this super surprising Italian restaurant. The complimentary bread absolutely ranks in the top 3 of all the bread I've had at restaurants. Unfortunately, we devoured it so quickly we forgot to take a picture! It had my favorite flavor profile ā absolutely perfect. š Octopus: Super tender. The pesto and cheese sauce at the bottom of the plate blended together perfectly. š„© Beef Carpaccio: Ordered this based on a Reddit recommendation. I usually avoid raw beef, but this was surprisingly delicious! No gaminess or bloodiness at all. Paired with plenty of Parmesan cheese and olive oil, it was incredibly flavorful ā couldn't stop eating it! š Squid Ink Pasta: The pasta itself was decent, but the cherry tomatoes in it were astonishingly delicious ā even sweeter than Whole Foods' honeybomb tomatoes. We specifically asked the waiter, and he said the tomatoes aren't candied; they just use a special variety. It really feels like this restaurant puts great care into their food. š Fico Va a Parma: My husband insisted on ordering this fig pizza, saying if it could rival Chao's, we wouldn't need to travel so far in the future. It certainly lived up to expectations ā very delicious. The crust was excellent, the fig jam base with prosciutto is hard to go wrong with, and the addition of walnuts added so much soul. š° Tiramisu: Can't eat at an Italian restaurant without ending with tiramisu. The flavor was very rich, and the cheese layer was creamier than Whole Foods' version ā definitely among the best I've had at any restaurant. This restaurant made me feel the chef's genuine dedication. I completely understand why, despite the unassuming exterior, it's so busy every day. I will definitely be back! #BostonEats #BostonItalianFood #WoburnEats
