Worcester’s Little Stone Castle 🏰
It’s the last day of my moving adventure — time really flies! ☁️ Just a while ago, I was still adjusting my body clock from Central to Eastern Time, and now I’ve officially arrived in New England! 🇺🇸 This week of “special-forces-style moving” has been more challenging than expected, but I’m truly grateful for a smooth journey and the kindness of the locals. This time, let me share a bit about Worcester. Located right in the heart of Massachusetts, Worcester is the state’s second-largest city and only about an hour away from Boston. But just like New York in my last post, Boston will have to wait for a dedicated trip someday 😉 🏰 Worcester Art Museum 55 Salisbury St, Worcester, MA 01609 A true Instagrammable spot in Worcester! 🎨 Founded in 1898, this museum is filled with art from around the world — from Roman sculptures to delicate Chinese ceramics. You’ll definitely find something that makes you stop and stare… and not want to leave! 📌 Note: Closed Mondays & Tuesdays | Closes at 4 PM | Student ID saves you $4! 🏰 Bancroft Tower A unique little stone castle with a charming vibe! 🍂 From the front, you can see a full view of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute campus. I heard it’s especially beautiful in fall with golden orange leaves as the backdrop. It’s only a 5-minute drive from the art museum — perfect for a combo visit! 🏰 Worcester Public Market 160 Green St, Worcester, MA 01604 How has no one on Xiaohongshu recommended this place?? 🥡 This food hall is located near downtown and is perfect for when you can’t decide what to eat but don’t want to go far. You can try small portions from different vendors — no need to choose just one! I tried Nepalese food here — highly recommend the chicken thukpa (Himalayan noodle soup) and momo (Nepalese dumplings)! 🏰 Seed to Stem 138 Green St #3, Worcester, MA 01604 A beautifully curated gift shop focused on plants 🌿— a true paradise for green lovers! It’s much bigger inside than it looks from outside. Perfect for a relaxing stroll after eating, just next to the Public Market. #Worcester #Travel #NewEngland #HiddenGems 🧳📸
