Work from OC 🥩 Want Both Fresh & Aged Flavors!

On my first night in Irvine, I chose this Michelin-selected steakhouse! 🥩✨ The building by the sea is over 80 years old—beautiful decor and excellent service. Before dinner, I took a stroll by the beach; after the meal, I explored an art festival nearby! 🎨🌊 📍 1464 S Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach, CA 92651 🥑 Rating Key: 👏 Loved it! 👍 Liked it 👌 Okay 👎 Not for me Starters 🐮 Wagyu Beef Tartare 👏 Wagyu tartare mixed with quail egg, served with crispy potato chips and bread—every bite was delicious! 🦪 Oysters 👏 Fresh oysters with ice wine vinaigrette and fresh horseradish—refreshing and flavorful! Mains & Sides 🥩 45-Day Dry-Aged Bone-In Ribeye 👏 Their signature dry-aged ribeye—rich and complex in flavor. Aged for 45 days, crispy outside and tender inside, perfect for those who love fermented notes! 🥩 American Wagyu 👍 Good quality meat, but the seasoning didn’t stand out. Better for fresh beef purists. 🍄 Wild Mushrooms 👏 Wild mushrooms paired with the steak—so aromatic! Dessert 🍮 Toffee Pudding 👏 Chose this over the soufflé—no regrets! Warm, soft cake with cool ice cream—a perfect contrast in textures. 💬 After the meal, I stopped by the Sawdust Art Festival—lots of handmade crafts and live music! A great way to wrap up the day. 🎵🖌️ The restaurant also runs its own coffee roastery next door: the b8kery by Selanne's—perfect for a relaxed afternoon. ☕🧁 🌍 Five years of working remotely—next stop, still Irvine! What’s your favorite steak doneness? Have you ever tried dry-aged beef?
