Work from Utah 🥯 Never Tried a Spicy Mediterranean Bagel Before!
My East Coast friend came to Salt Lake City and ended up eating bagels every single day. 🥑 I thought, "Could they really be better than New York's?" 😂 So I decided to tag along and check it out! 📍 204 E 500 S, Salt Lake City 🥑 Avo’s Ratings: 👏 Love 👍 Like 👌 Okay 👎 No 🥯 Bagel & Cream Cheese 👌 Build your own bagel with cream cheese. This place doesn’t have many sweet options, so playing it safe with an everything bagel + scallion cream cheese is a solid choice! 🥯 Lox Sandwich 👍 Smoked Norwegian salmon, perfectly paired with an everything bagel and plain cream cheese—a classic combo. Topped with red onion, capers, and dill for rich layers of flavor. 🥯 Muhammara Sandwich 👏 The Mediterranean-style red sauce turned out to be sweet and spicy—what a delightful surprise! Packed with bell peppers, walnuts, cilantro, dill, mint, pomegranate… loaded with goodness. Hats off to whoever came up with this ingredient combo! 💬 I’ve been indulging in bagels in New York these past two months (check out my bagel roundup if interested), but I never expected to discover such unique flavors in Salt Lake City. The only downside—they don’t heat the bagels. While the Muhammara is great cold, I personally prefer my other bagels warm. Besides bagels, they also offer chocolate chip cookies and apple cider oatmeal cookies—perfect for snacking! 🍪 Right across the street is Washington Square Park and City Hall—a great spot for a post-meal stroll~ 🌳🏛️ 🌍 Four years of working remotely… Next stop: Still Salt Lake City! 💼✨ #SaltLakeCityFood #SaltLakeCityBakery #UtahFood #WorkFromAnywhere #SaltLakeCityTravel #BagelLovers #FoodieFinds #MediterraneanFlavors #RemoteLife #UrbanExplorer
