There is something to be said about how delicious you can make something with such simple ingredients and they've really done it here! Stopped in early on a Saturday to indulge in some bagel-y goodness and immediately realized I found a new favorite spot! While the menu options may be few, I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed with whatever you choose. They have a handful of bagel sandwich options, or if you want to keep it simple, you can order a bagel with one of their signature spreads. They also have a fridge in the ordering line area that houses some drinks and spreads you can purchase to bring home with you.
I ordered an Egg & Cheese Plain Bagel Sandwich with two extra slices of cheese and my husband ordered a Sausage, Egg & Cheese Everything Bagel Sandwich. My god, how delicious these sandwiches ended up being!!!! Their in-house made bagels are to die for. They had the most perfect texture; not too dense and had a nice crunch to the outer layer without being difficult to bite through. Also, one of my favorite things about my sandwich was that they make it with one large egg and I appreciate that so much. I am one of those strange people that doesn't mind eggs, but if what I'm eating has too much egg, I tend to enjoy it less and will pull out the remaining egg once I've had enough. The ratio and balance of all the ingredients in their sandwiches was perfect!
I am so glad this place exists and have every intention to try their other items because their spreads look spectacular! Great job on some...
Read moreI ordered a bagel sandwich and was shocked that for $12 I got a cold, hard bagel, with soooo much oil, muhummara and herbs that it wasnt edible. There was so much oil it kept slipping out of my fingers, the flavors were overkill and too much. I asked for something else, or to remake and toast the bagel but the person at the register gave me a disgusted look and a bad attitude. I havent a clue why when a customer states that food is legitimately bad why the restaurant wouldnt comp or offer to remake the food in attempt to create a better experience. Everything felt amateur — from the poor service to the art ont he walls. The half dozen bagels I got to go at 9am were cold, stale, and also overpriced — two of them werent what i ordered either. For all the raving I've heard about this place, perhaps the management could give its staff basic training in hospitality and keep an eye on how food is prepared. But I'd save your money here and go to Bagel Project further...
Read moreThis place is the emoji of chef’s kiss 🤌. I landed in SLC and had a few hours to burn before I get into my day. Pulled up yelp and saw this place close to downtown (it’s a little outside but part of downtown - by the library) and thought should be fine. I was wrong, it was way better than fine.
The shop shared a kitchen with lady flour so the signage is a little confusing but it had a very old school vibe. Anybody who had been into an old school cafe or donut shop will remember the tables. The music and ambiance created a chill environment. A+
I ordered a breakfast sandwich and coffee and talked to the cashier if I could chill for a few hours. He said of course and gave me the WiFi password - service A+.
I take my first bite of my breakfast sandwich - heck yeah it was good. A+
I’m a fan of this place. If I lived in SLC, this would be my go to spot. Definitely plan on coming back when I leave California and find...
