Worth a Visit in Charlotte, North Carolina: The Mint Museum

✨Took a stroll in Charlotte’s Uptown area on the weekend and finally made a special trip to the Mint Museum, which I’ve heard so much about. 🍀The museum is not large, leaning more towards an art gallery with two floors of exhibition space. You can probably explore it all in about two and a half hours if you take your time. I absolutely loved the entire wall of colorful glass. When the sunlight shines through, it perfectly casts the patterns onto the white wall next to it, giving a different feel from the glass itself. The iconic sculpture in the last photo is actually at the entrance of the adjacent Bechtler Museum. The two are right next to each other, and you can’t miss this sculpture as you exit the Mint, with many people posing for photos with it. 🎫 Tickets are $15 on the official website, but Groupon often has discounts. I got my ticket at half price. ☀️The Mint also has another gallery on Randolph Rd, which I didn’t get a chance to visit this time. Has anyone been there?
