πΈπΊπΏπ Yakushi-ji Temple(1) πΈπΊπΏπ
One of the head temples of the Japanese Hosso sect and one of the Seven Great Temples of Nara, πΈπΊπΏπ Yakushi-ji Temple originally centered around the Golden Hall, known as "Ryugu" (Dragon Palace), with numerous buildings including twin towers to the east and west, πΈπΊπΏπ a lecture hall, and corridors. After fires in 973 and warfare in 1528, all but the East Tower and the East Hall were nearly destroyed. π₯π° Later, the West Tower was reconstructed. πΈπΊπΏπ The West Tower can be seen as a refurbished version of the weathered East Tower, and together, the two towers evoke a deep sense of history. πΌπ― #YakushiJiTemple πΈπΊπΏπ
