The main hall, the Golden Hall, was also rebuilt in the Baiphong style, featuring two stories, πΈπΊπΏπ two attic levels, and a layout of five bays on four sides. ποΈβ¨ The bronze gilt Buddha statue inside the Golden Hall survived fires, πΈπΊπΏπ though its gold plating has been burned off, leaving it with a dark appearance. The Golden Hall enshrines the πΈπΊπΏπ Three Figures of the Medicine Buddha, with Yakushi Nyorai in the center, flanked by Nikko Bosatsu (Sunlight Bodhisattva) and Gakko Bosatsu (Moonlight Bodhisattva). πΈπΊπΏπ The sculptural style reveals the influence of the Silk Road and the culture of the early Tang Dynasty on Japan at that time. ππ #YakushiJiTemple πΈπΊπΏπ
