Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room
šVisiting the Dallas Museum of Art for the first time, I found myself hesitating over whether to spend $20 to see Yayoi Kusamaās iconic pumpkin infinity room. The experience allows only two people at a time, and lasts just 90 seconds. Apparently, many felt the same way ā the line was surprisingly short. Maybe everyone thought it wasnāt worth it? After some research, I learned that the only Yayoi Kusama Museum is in Tokyo. Although pricey, experiencing her work in person felt special ā and in a way, itās also a donation to the arts. šØ Kusamaās collaborations with Louis Vuitton have made her polka dots, pumpkins, infinite dots, and floral motifs truly iconic. After the visit, I picked up a few souvenirs from the gift shop ā making the trip feel even more worthwhile. š š Quick Tips:š« Tickets: $20 for timed entry ā³ Duration: 90 seconds inside the mirror room š„ Capacity: 2 people per session š Gift shop has lovely Kusama-themed items If youāre a fan of immersive art or Kusamaās visionary style, itās a memorable (if brief) encounter with one of the worldās most celebrated contemporary artists. š #US #Texas #Dallas
